What is it that makes the perch, whitefish and new potatoes taste so good out here at Grinda?
We like to think that it’s because we have the recipes and the skills to cook our ingredients to their full potential. But if the truth be told, it’s probably about something more. Because we can’t deny that something happens in the atmosphere that the archipelago offers. Sitting down and enjoying a good meal, overlooking a sparkling bay, does wonderful things to the aroma and taste. And then there’s the sense of community around a generous meal. Whether it’s on the terrace of the Wärdshuset, the Framfickan jetty or under the leafy trees at the Utwärdshuset, it doesn’t really matter. Together is a feeling that lifts the taste experience to new levels.
Perhaps it’s just as many of our guests say; “Everything tastes a little better out here”.
