Grinda is the home port of all boating enthusiasts. Located in the heart of the archipelago, on the way out to the outer archipelago, or on the way home to the club dock. Here it is nice to dock for the night, enjoy the good food and sleep safely in protection from wind and sea.
It’s no wonder that Grinda harbor attracts so many people with their own boat. Everything you need is here. The general store has most things for the kitchen on board, the gas station has fuel and water. And in the boathouse you’ll find rigging screws, ropes, boating cards, life jackets and many other things you might need before you cast off again.
In addition, there is a natural community along Grinda’s piers and on Framfickan’s lovely terrace, where people thrive.

We’re now inviting you to an inspiring weekend where you can earn your boating license in a stunning archipelago setting at Grinda Wärdshus – led by Annika Trogen from Trogen Havet! During the weekend, we’ll go through theory in navigation, maritime safety, rules of the sea, and more in an easy and accessible way. You’ll also practice the craft of plotting courses and positions on nautical charts.
Discover the world of hunting during an inspiring Hunting & Game Weekend at Grinda Wärdshus. On scenic Grinda, you’ll get an introduction to Swedish hunting, wildlife management, ethics, and equipment – perfect for those who are curious or considering obtaining a hunting license. The third weekend of October, we welcome back our annual Eld (Fire!) theme and event! Fires are lit throughout the archipelago as we celebrate the arrival of the darker season. At Grinda Wärdshus, we serve a fiery dinner buffet and brighten up the autumn darkness with a torchlit procession, a large bonfire and a spectacular fire show!
Put on your lederhosen or dirndl and hop on the boat to Grinda for a festive evening in true Oktoberfest spirit! On Saturday, October 24, the island comes alive with beer, oompah music and classic Oktoberfest delicacies. We’ll set the tables with hearty sausages, sauerkraut, pretzels and cold beer – all served with a wonderful autumn atmosphere in the Stockholm Archipelago.
