There is an oasis at Grinda

A simple little gem for those who want to have a silly good time. We call it Grinda Sea Lodge and it is a paradise for those who like to hang out, swim, eat barbecue and just be. Some people think it reminds them of a bodega, others call it a tavern. But whatever you think when you sit down among the tables overlooking the water, you know you’ve found the right place. You’ll feel good here, and you’ll just want to stop and watch the boats glide by while enjoying the tantalizing smells from the grill next door

From our Sea Lodge, the meadow stretches down to the water where bathing beckons. At the horse island opposite, motorboats and sailors usually dock in the evening. And that’s when we light up the grills and browse through spices, marinades and all the world’s specialties that can be put on a grill grid.

Some settle down in the grass and get a beer and a delicious plate from the grill. Others find a table under the birch trees with a cold bottle of bubbly and watch the evening sun caress the islets and skerries. If you’re looking for a place to find yourself, this is a good place to start looking. And at Grinda Sea Lodge you’re always in good company.

If you’ve fallen for Grinda Sea Lodge and its obvious charm, it’s also good to know that you can actually stay. Not only do you find the simple rooms with proximity to the sea and the forest, here you can also book cottages where the whole gang or family can live archipelago life at its best.
