Rules:
Same rules as at the World Championships www.vmkubb.com with the following exceptions: No player may throw two sticks after him. Who will throw and how many sticks must be decided before the throwing round begins.
Game structure:
Group play and playoffs for all teams where two best teams play a-playoffs and the rest b-playoffs. Best of 3 sets. If a match takes longer than 1½ hours, a tiebreak is introduced. Tiebreak = *When the time is up, you finish the round you are playing, after this the teams again throw closest to the king (just as you do when deciding who starts with the sticks). The team that comes closest is the one that will start the tiebreak during their round. This means that after you have thrown in your cubes, if there are any to throw in, you remove a base cube from the opponents. If there is no base cube, you remove the field cube that is furthest from the majority. This is done every round until the game is over.
Prizes:
Medals to 1st 2nd and 3rd in the a-playoff and traveling trophy to the 1st. Smaller traveling trophy to the winners in the b-playoffs.
Also: 1st prize, gift card to Grinda, Inn package for 2 people worth 3790:-.
The package includes accommodation for 2 people in a double room at the hotel, 3-course dinner and breakfast.
Judge: Johan Lundin from KubbGotland
