Grinda Day is an annual event and one of our most well-attended days.

A family day and evening filled with events, entertainment, and activities for all ages. We’ll show you what Grinda has to offer and treat you to a truly wonderful day and evening with us, filled with entertainment and activities.

It’s going to be a wonderful day and evening filled with activities and entertainment, so a warm welcome to you all!

Program

GUEST HARBOUR

12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.

Take a RIB boat tour with Öppet Hav, 300 SEK per person – departures every half hour or depending on occupancy/interest.
Go fishing with Catch & Relax, check out the boats and equipment, and give it a try.
Come meet Svenska Sjö! Enter to win an electric motor from e-propulsion and take advantage of great insurance deals.
Rent kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Book in advance at https://grinda.se/aktiviteter/
Seaplane flights – feel free to watch or give it a try for 500 SEK per person.

Grinda Then and Now – A Journey Through Time. This year, Wärdshuset turns 120, and we’re celebrating 30 years in business!
Entertainment featuring DJs, music, quizzes, jazz, great food and drinks, the best pizza in the archipelago, and delicious cocktails.

THE MEADOW & THE COUNTRY STORE

Fun land-based activities with Öppet Hav for families and children—on the meadow below Wärdshuset.
Midsummer Dance – The ballet girls from Midsummer are coming back to lead a children’s dance class for the little ones.
Stockholm Archipelago Trail – meet Michael Lemmel (founder of SAT) and hear him talk about this unique hiking trail. Take our recommended
walk along the trail—great prizes for the winners.
Fun and games for the kids. The GB clown is treating everyone to ice cream! There will be a fish pond, face painting, the Kalasklart kids’ show, and lots of other fun activities for the
little ones.

GRINDA SEA LODGE

A nice place to hang out in eastern Grinda—a little oasis where summer evenings get
even better. Come join us for one of our barbecue nights and have dinner or
check in and stay the night. We fire up the grill every evening at 6:00 p.m.

Book our popular Wärdshus/ Inn Package! An accommodation package including a hotel room, a three-course dinner, and a breakfast buffet. Cabin with 2 beds: two 90 cm beds placed side by side. Electricity is available, but there is no running water. Simple kitchen with a stove/oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and containers for collecting water. Equipped with tableware, kitchen utensils, a coffee maker, and a kettle. Bed linen and towels are not included – please bring your own or rent them from us (pre-booked as an add-on).

4–5 bed cabin

Cabin with 4–5 beds: two bunk beds, one with a wider lower bunk (120 cm). One bunk bed is located in the living area and one in a separate sleeping cabin. Electricity is available, but there is no running water. Simple kitchen with a stove/oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and containers for collecting water. Equipped with tableware and kitchen utensils. Bed linen and towels are not included – please bring your own or rent them from us (pre-booked as an add-on).

4-bedded room at Grinda Sea Lodge with shared shower/toilet – pets allowed

These newly renovated units, located on the southern side of Grinda, consist of two rooms. One is furnished with a double bed, and the other with a pull-out daybed. The colors and materials have been chosen to blend in with the surrounding nature. The rooms have running water. Outside the door, there is a small private seating area on the terrace, overlooking the water. Bed linens and cleaning are not included but can be rented as extras. You make your own beds and cleaning. Dogs are allowed.

4-bed cabin PLUS

Cabin in a fantastic cliffside location with views of the archipelago. 4 beds: a twin bed in the living area and a bunk bed in a separate bedroom. Kitchen for simple cooking with a refrigerator, small freezer, stove, and microwave. Equipped with tableware and kitchen utensils. Bed linen and towels are not included – please bring your own or rent them from us (pre-booked as an add-on).

Double room at the hotel

Spacious double rooms with shower and toilet. Separate beds that can be pulled apart. The rooms are rustically decorated with a location close to nature. In this room, dogs and other pets are welcome.
