The day is shaped based on the purpose and goals of your conference – and then topped with fantastic nature and wonderful dining experiences here with us at Grinda Värdshus.
When you want to organize a conference, a meeting or a wonderful day for your employees or management team, we offer a unique approach. The concept is based on research on the interaction of the brain and the body and means that your theme for the conference is woven together with hiking, neuro-leadership and experience-based exercises – something that results in increased presence, energy and commitment.
The hiking conferences start and end here with us at Grinda Värdshus. Of course, we also make sure that you get good food and coffee during the day. The experienced consultants at Syresatta Möten, Nina Lindblom and Mona Cewenhielm, create the content in close collaboration with you. Part of the conference can be held indoors if necessary or if the weather is against us.
All oxygenated meetings have elements of nature, hiking and relationship building. This is woven together with your purpose for the conference, e.g. business planning, group development, leadership development, communication, sustainability focus, idea and vision, change work, etc. Build your group, work with strategy and business development in motion.
With Nina and Mona’s combined experience and expertise (read more about us on our Instagram), we can offer professional content in most areas that you as a leader of group and business can face. They have extensive experience from both the public and private sectors, and from many industries.
Group size is often 8-36 people, but we can also arrange for larger groups.
Walking conferences are best held over a full day, but they can also be held in a half-day format.

Join our experienced yoga instructor out in nature for a wonderful and different yoga session!
During the session, we will alternate between yoga sessions and walking sequences and also stop to try a forest bath (see below).

Clothing: Comfortable and flexible clothing. Keep in mind that the wind can be cold. Bring a warm jacket to put on during the final warm-down.

Yoga Walk About
Yoga Walk About is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. There are no sitting or lying positions. During the session we move along the paths at Grinda and make four stops for simple yoga sessions of 10-15 minutes. We end with a peaceful cool down.
Forest bathing
We’ll also try forest bathing – a Japanese practice that involves taking it easy and “bathing” in sensory impressions from the forest. To focus on just being. To slowly and attentively let scents, sounds, impressions and feelings calm the body and brain.
Join us for a wonderful day of hiking across Grinda’s peaceful woodlands, over salt-sprinkled rocks and soft meadows. Experience a day of closeness to nature and to yourself. We make stops along the way for yoga, forest bathing, coffee and a lovely lunch.
You arrive at Grinda Värdshus around 9 am and hand in your luggage. If you have chosen a lunch package from us, just let us know in the restaurant. You refill your thermos with steaming hot coffee or tea. Then, at 9.30, our guide Nina Lindblom meets you at the entrance.
We start our hike out towards the northwestern cape along the Stockholm Archipelago Trail. We continue along the high coastline to the north and find a beautiful spot on the cliffs for one of our yoga stops – with great views. We then continue through pine and deciduous forests on winding paths, along narrow dirt roads to eventually come down on the south side of the island. The walk is varied with much of the time overlooking the water.
Time: About 5 hours incl. four stops for yoga, forest bathing and coffee/lunch along the way
During the walk we will make four stops for simple yoga sequences (15 minutes each). A yoga suitable for both beginners and experienced. No sitting or lying positions.
Of course, we also stop at a beautiful, well-chosen place for our packed lunch / coffee.
We also try Forest Bathing – a Japanese phenomenon that involves taking it easy and “bathing” in sensory impressions from the forest. To focus on just being. To slowly and attentively let scents, sounds and sensory impressions calm the body and brain.
Once back at Grinda Värdshus you check in and can then enjoy a cozy afternoon, maybe a sauna before the taste experience of a good dinner and a cozy overnight stay with breakfast.

What to wear during the yoga walk
Comfortable and flexible clothes to move around in. Keep in mind that the wind can be cold. Bring a warm jacket to wear during the coffee break. Softer boots or sneakers that can withstand wetness.
