When you check into the hotel, you find yourself in a unique setting. Not only are the comfortable rooms located in the middle of the lakeside nature, right next door you will find the Wärdshuset with its restaurant, bar and breakfast room.
Our hotel rooms are located in four archipelago houses, which we have named after the cardinal points. All rooms have their own shower and toilet. The beds are placed as a double bed with separate beds that you can pull apart.
At Grinda we like dogs, as long as they do not disturb other guests. We have dog-friendly hotel rooms, booking the dog supplement of SEK 200 per stay is easily done in connection with your booking online.

Experience the archipelago on foot! The package begins with a 3-course dinner at The Inn, followed by check-in to our archipelago-inspired hotel rooms for a restful night’s sleep. Next morning starts with a lovely breakfast and a take-away lunch, and fill your thermos with coffee or tea before heading out on a hike along the Stockholm Archipelago Trail – a perfect combination of nature, great food, and archipelago charm. Please note that dinner & lunch package are included for adults only.

Those of us who live and work out here know just how beautiful autumn is in the archipelago. As the leaves begin to fall and the colours shift to rusty reds and deep violets, the crisp sea air carries the scent of seaweed and salt. And as afternoon turns into evening, we light the open fire in the grand salon of Grinda Wärdshus.
The third weekend of October, we welcome back our annual Eld (Fire!) theme and event! Fires are lit throughout the archipelago as we celebrate the arrival of the darker season. At Grinda Wärdshus, we serve a fiery dinner buffet and brighten up the autumn darkness with a torchlit procession, a large bonfire and a spectacular fire show!
The third weekend of October features our recurring theme and event, Fire! Come out as early as Friday and stay the whole weekend! Fires will be lit all around the archipelago as we welcome the darker season. On Saturday, Grinda Wärdshus serves a fiery dinner buffet and lights up the autumn darkness with a torchlight procession, a large autumn bonfire, and a fire show!
Put on your lederhosen or dirndl and hop on the boat to Grinda for a festive evening in true Oktoberfest spirit! On Saturday, October 24, the island comes alive with beer, oompah music and classic Oktoberfest delicacies. We’ll set the tables with hearty sausages, sauerkraut, pretzels and cold beer – all served with a wonderful autumn atmosphere in the Stockholm Archipelago. Bring your friends and experience Oktoberfest in the Heart of the Archipelago!

During the high season, the reception is staffed every day between 08:00 – 16:00 After 16:00, restaurant staff are available until 23:00. Subject to change.
